Goldie's Takes: Week 11

(Allen Eyestone/RollTideWire.USAToday)

Goldie’s All Time Record: 43-20

Goldie’s Week 10 record: 10-3

Goldie’s Guarantee: 5-0

Goldie’s Upset: 3-2

Crazy Uncle Jeff: 2-0

Goldie’s Guarantee

Miami Dolphins (6-3) @ Denver Broncos (3-6)

Vegas Picks: MIA -3.5

Goldie’s Take: Dolphins Win 31-14

The Miami Dolphins have won five games in a row. Brian Flores has the defense rocking , resulting in them being up there with the best in the NFL. It should be no surprise that "B-Flo" is a frontrunner for coach of the year. Also, Xavien Howard has been playing like the best cornerback in the league with five interceptions. Meanwhile, Broncos will be starting a banged up Drew Lock. Fully expect the Dolphins to go into Denver and dismantle the Broncos.

Goldie’s Upset of the Week

Detroit Lions (4-5) @ Carolina Panthers (3-7)

Vegas Picks: CAR -3

Goldie’s Take: Lions Win 28-23

The Lions need this game. Carolina has lost five in a row and Matthew Stafford is running out of time in his career. Believe or not this Detroit team is very much alive in the playoff push. A win here would do wonders for their chances. Panthers will again be without star running back Christian McCaffrey. I like the Lions in this one.

Crazy Uncle Jeff’s Lock of the Week: NO -3.5

Atlanta Falcons (3-6) @ New Orleans Saints (7-2)

Vegas Picks: NO -3.5

Goldie’s Take: Saints Win 27-21

Saints come into this one ROLLING, winners of six in a row. However, starting QB Drew Brees will be out for this game. Sean Payton has decided it's Taysom Hill time. Nobody really knows what to expect from Hill as he’s only thrown 18 passes in his career. This is a surprising move considering Jameis Winston is also on the team. That being said, I trust Payton. Uncle Jeff and I agree, Saints win this one in the dome and keep the train rolling.

Pittsburgh Steelers (9-0) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8)

Vegas Picks: PIT -10.5

Goldie’s Take: Steelers Win 22-17

Although the Steelers are 9-0, most experts around the league will agree they’re not the best team in football. They have a huge game coming up on Thanksgiving night against the Ravens. I could see this Jacksonville game being a bit of a trap game for Big Ben and the Steelers. However, I don’t think the Jags pose enough of a threat to pull out a win. Steelers win in an unexpectedly close game.

New England Patriots (4-5) @ Houston Texans (2-7)

Vegas Picks: NE -1.5

Goldie’s Take: Patriots Win 26-21

The Pats will look to carry their momentum from their monsoon game against the Ravens last week right into Houston. New England are the more physical team and I think they are going to go in and bully the Texans. Houston will be without starting running back David Johnson. Pats physicality powers them back to .500.

Tennessee Titans (6-3) @ Baltimore Ravens (6-3)

Vegas Picks: BAL -5

Goldie’s Take: Ravens Win 33-24

This is a rematch of last year’s AFC divisional round where the Titans shocked the world and beat the mighty Ravens in Baltimore (This was back when we had full stadiums too). Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have had this game circled on their calendar for months now. Baltimore is going to come out firing and never look back. Ravens win this AFC heavyweight fight.

Philadelphia Eagles (3-5-1) @ Cleveland Browns (6-3)

Vegas Picks: CLE -3

Goldie’s Take: Browns Win 21-16

Browns have allowed a total of only 23 points in the past two weeks combined. Their defense has been balling. The return of Nick Chubb clearly boosts their offense as the Browns are a run heavy team. The Eagles are still pretty beat up injury wise. Also the game is in Cleveland. All signs point towards the Browns taking this one.

Cincinnati Bengals (2-6-1) @ Washington Football Team (2-7)

Vegas Picks: WAS -1

Goldie’s Take: Bengals Win 30-21

Washington has still failed to win a game outside of the NFC "LEast", I don’t see that changing this weekend. Joey B gets his first road victory in the NFL. Honestly I don’t have much faith in either one of these squads, but I’m going with the rook this Sunday. Bengals get a win in the nation’s capital.

New York Jets (0-9) @ Los Angeles Chargers (2-7)

Vegas Picks: LAC -9.5

Goldie’s Take: Chargers Win 28-19

C’mon people. This is the Jets we’re talking about. Nobody in their right mind is taking the Jets in any game this season. However, if there was a team to lose to the Jets, I wouldn’t put it past the Chargers. They just can’t figure out how to close out wins. The Chargers might be the best 2-7 team I’ve ever seen. Herbert shines as the Chargers handle the Jets at home.

Dallas Cowboys (2-7) @ Minnesota Vikings (4-5)

Vegas Picks: MIN -7

Goldie’s Take: Vikings Win 23-20

Cowboys are getting quarterback Andy Dalton back this weekend, so this should be a closer game then originally expected. That being said, the Vikings still have the best player on the field in Dalvin Cook. I predict the Cowboys will keep it close but the Vikings pull away in the end. Making this a venue call as I like the Vikings at home.

Green Bay Packers (7-2) @ Indianapolis Colts (6-3)

Vegas Picks: IND -1.5

Goldie’s Take: Packers Win 31-23

Colts have used their weak schedule to their advantage this year, winning the games they should win. The win against Tennessee was a bit of a surprise, but I still don't view Indy as a contender. On the other hand, I do view Green Bay as a contender. Their defense is playing very well, oh and Aaron Rodgers? He’s a BAAAAD MAAANNN. Packers take this one on the road.

Kansas City Chiefs (8-1) @ Las Vegas Raiders (6-3)

Vegas Picks: KC -8

Goldie’s Take: Chiefs Win 31-21

The Raiders are the only team that has beaten the Chiefs this season. If the Black Hole was at full capacity, the Raiders would be strong competitors for Goldie’s Upset of the week, but unfortunately in today’s pandemic world there will be no crazy Raiders fans at this game. Chiefs will show the world that they truly are the best team in football with a primetime W in Vegas this Sunday.

Los Angeles Rams (6-3) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3)

Vegas Picks: TB -4

Goldie’s Take: Buccaneers Win 38-31

Monday Night Football should be a very exciting matchup as these two contenders face off. On the one side the Rams absolutely need a win to keep pace with their loaded division. However the same is true for the Bucs as they need to keep pace with the Saints, especially after losing to them twice already this season. I think this is going to be a great game but I like Brady’s experience to be the X factor in this one. Bucs win a high scoring affair.
