Goldie’s Week 17 Record : 10-6 Vs. Spread: 5-11

Goldie’s Guarantee: 8-4

Goldie’s Upset: 8-4

Crazy Uncle Jeff: 10-0

Crazy Uncle Jeff's Wildcard 4-team Parlay:

Some would argue that Patrick Mahomes is having the best season this year. Others would say it's Josh Allen or Aaron Rodgers. C’mon people. Let’s be real. The man who is having the best NFL season this year in none other than my Crazy Uncle Jeff. In the past ten weeks, Uncle Jeff has not missed. He’s been automatic. Ten games. Ten wins. It’s gotten to the point where one lock just doesn’t do it for him anymore. So Uncle Jeff is going CRAZY this weekend, as he attempts a FOUR game parlay instead of his usual one game lock. So without further ado, here are the picks:

Bills ML

Buccaneers ML

Ravens ML

Steelers ML

LOCK IT IN!

Goldie’s Guarantee: PIT -6

Cleveland Browns (11-5) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4)

Vegas Picks: PIT -6

Goldie’s Take: Steelers Win 28-20

Last week these two teams played, and the Browns narrowly defeated the Steelers B team in Cleveland. This week the Steelers will be playing all of their starters (who are now well rested), and the game is in Pittsburgh. The Browns will also be without their head coach, Kevin Stefanski, due to COVID-19. All signs point towards the Steelers taking this one. Also I trust the veteranness of Mike Tomlin and Big Ben way more than I trust Baker Mayfield in his first playoff game. Especially with all the COVID chaos surrounding the Browns right now. Steelers take care of business at home this weekend.

Goldie’s Upset of the Week

Los Angeles Rams (10-6) @ Seattle Seahawks (12-4)

Vegas Picks: SEA -3

Goldie’s Take: Rams Win 22-20

This was the most difficult upset I’ve had to pick all season. I usually never pick one against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in Seattle. However, there is a lot I like about the Rams this week. It’s their defense. They rank NO.1 in the NFL in yards per play allowed, and their pass rush has sacked Russel Wilson 11 times in just two meetings this season. Seattle’s offense has steadily declined since week 9, and no defense gives Seattle trouble quite like the Rams. LA will be getting back Cooper Kupp, Andrew Whitworth, and Cam Akers, which should give the Rams offense a boost regardless if Goff is playing or not (Probable). Especially with no fans attending, I like the Rams to steal one in Seattle this weekend. UPSET!

Indianapolis Colts (11-5) @ Buffalo Bills (13-3)

Vegas Picks: BUF -6.5

Goldie’s Take: Bills Win 30-20

“First things first, rest in peace to Uncle Phil”, because this will be Phillip Rivers’ final playoff game. The Bills enter this game as the hottest team in football. They’ve won six games in a row by a score of at least double digits. This offense cannot be stopped. Exemplified by Josh Allen’s numbers this season, earning himself a spot in the MVP conversation. On the other hand, the Colts had trouble putting away the 1-15 Jaguars last week to even qualify for this game. Josh Allen will pick up his first playoff victory as the Buffalo Bills circle the wagons once again.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5) @ Washington Football Team (7-9)

Vegas Picks: TB -8

Goldie’s Take: Buccaneers Win 27-23

Tom Brady’s first playoff game not wearing a New England Patriots jersey. The media loves the Bucs in this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if Washington gives them a good fight. Washington has the best pass rush in the NFL, which is crucial especially against a pocket passer like Brady. Also Alex Smith is a veteran, and knows the game of football and is slated to be the Comeback Player of the Year. Washington is 5-1 this season when Alex Smith is starting. This was a heavy contender for Upset of the Week, but I can’t go against the savvy veteran experience of Brady and the Bucs will get this win.

Baltimore Ravens (11-5) @ Tennessee Titans (11-5)

Vegas Picks: BAL -3

Goldie’s Take: Ravens Win 31-27

Rematch of last season’s divisional round where the Titans shocked the world and knocked off the NO.1 seeded Baltimore Ravens. Lamar Jackson and the Ravens have got their team clicking at the right time. They enter this game on a five game winning streak with much to prove. On the other side, the Titans have looked a bit shaky in recent weeks. Especially their defense. They’ve allowed 38 or more points in their past two ball games. They have a weak secondary that is put under even more pressure with their weak pass rush. The Titans defense is too shaky for me to trust them this week. Especially against a QB as unique and athletic as Lamar Jackson is. Ravens get their long awaited revenge in Tennessee this Sunday.

Chicago Bears (8-8) @ New Orleans Saints (12-4)

Vegas Picks: NO -10

Goldie’s Take: Saints Win 28-17 The Saints arguably have the best overall roster in football. There is no unit of players on this squad, that is a weak link for them. Also Drew Brees is battling against father time, and he doesn’t know how many more shots he’s going to get at this thing. He’s got to be fired up for this playoff run. On the flip side, the Bears have been so inconsistent all season. You never know which Chicago team is going to show up. You can’t trust the Bears in this spot. Saints should go in and absolutely roll the Bears in the dome this weekend.
