The final dynamite before All Out was highlighted by an intense exchange between ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, Kenny Omega and FTR
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) Dynamite returned to its regular Wednesday air time, just days before the All Out pay-per-view this Saturday, Sept. 5.
The show featured amazing in ring action, but even better storytelling. Already announced was Chris Jericho vs Joey Janela, NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa vs Serena Deeb and more.
In addition, Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite also saw a heated exchange between FTR and the AEW World Tag Team Champions ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

Kenny Omega cleans house on the mic
Throughout his time in AEW Kenny Omega has been described as “goofy” and “too comical” on the microphone. On Wednesday night, all of that changed.
Omega came out to the ring to discuss his upcoming match against FTR alongside ‘Hangman’ Adam Page at All Out for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. He cut a fiery and serious promo about how he and Page will do what they’ve done against every other team, win.
The ‘Cleaner’ was soon interrupted by FTR and their manager, Tully Balnchard, but rejected their peace offering of chocolate milk. Omega exclaimed that if FTR and Blanchard wanted to beat him up they should get it over with because he doesn’t want to spend anymore time with two men whom he dubbed “dickhead hillbillies.”
Before FTR could attack Page made his way to the ring. FTR immediately called out the ‘Hangman,’ telling him his actions last week which robbed The Young Bucks of a title opportunity last week were nobody’s fault but his own.
The AEW World Tag Team Championship challengers continued and told Page to everyone how big of a piece of shit he is. Page was understandably frustrated, but Omega quickly stepped in, telling his partner FTR was trying to get in his head.
During the scuffle FTR grabbed the championship belts and Page demanded they give them back. Instead, they dropped them in the middle of the ring.
Page bent over to pick up the belts and when he went to hand Omega his belt, he was standing on the outside looking on in anger.
Major shades of the more aggressive, cocky and meaner Kenny Omega were shown in this segment. However, what got everyone talking was the fact Omega wouldn’t even stand in the ring with his partner to end the segment.
The relationship between Kenny Omega and ‘Hangman’ Adam Page may not last past Saturday and by the end of the night Page might not have a championship or any friends.
Young Bucks are all business
An epic match between The Young Bucks and Jurrasic Express against SoCal Uncensored and Private Party resulted in a victory for the latter team.
At All Out The Young Bucks will take on Jurassic express, but that wasn’t the big story here.
Last week on Dynamite, Adam Page was booted out of The Elite by The Bucks. This week, they came to the ring with a more serious attitude.
After their victory Matt and Nick Jackson didn’t even celebrate. Just days away from All Out, have The Young Bucks found a newfound aggression?
Only time will tell if this new swagger shown by Matt and Nick lasts or if they just needed to blow off some steam after last week’s event .
Thunder Rosa debuts in AEW
Three days ahead of her match for the AEW Women’s Championship , Thunder Rosa made her AEW debut against Serena Deeb. Longtime wrestling fans may recognize Deeb from her days in WWE with the Straightedge Society.
It was a clean and decisive victory for Rosa, but nonetheless a great introduction to her work for fans around the world. As we mentioned before, Thunder Rosa is the reigning National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) Women’s World Champion and one of the top female wrestlers in the world.
AEW’s women’s division has been depleted for some time, but it was really refreshing to see a great television match from these two. Rosa’s agility, coupled with her strikes and unique “Thunder Driver” finish made for a great showing.
Deeb also deserves a lot of credit here too, she looked great in the ring and it would be awesome to see her again in AEW sometime soon.
The only criticism for this segment is AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida was nowhere to be seen. It’s awfully strange not to have your champion make an appearance on the final show before a pay-per-view.
Moxley makes quick work of Mark Sterling in Main Event
‘Smart’ Mark Sterling has to be the worst lawyer ever, who doesn’t read page 17? Sterling wouldn’t have found himself in this match if he read the contract, but if he didn’t show up Maxwell Jacob Freidman (MJF) wouldn’t get his AEW World Championship match at All Out.
To no surprise, Moxley made quick work of Sterling. It was an entertaining squash match in which the AEW Champion toyed with his opponent.
After the match MJF’s henchman Wardlow laid a beatdown on Moxley. Soon enough, MJF came down to the ring and continued the assault on the champion.
MJF drilled Moxley with the Dynamite Diamond Ring and even bit his face. The show ended with Freidman standing tall over a bloodied Moxley and holding the AEW World Championship title belt.
After Wednesday’s events you can guarantee Moxley is going to be one pissed off son of a gun come Saturday at All Out.
Two of AEW’s undefeated singles stars are on a direct collision course and it all comes to a head this weekend on pay-per-view! One man will walk out the champion, while the other will walk out with their first singles loss in AEW.
