The March. 31 edition of AEW Dynamite was highlighted by an epic main event

A huge month of March for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) came to an end Wednesday night.
The final Dynamite of the month saw the formation of a new stable, the return of a familiar one and an action-packed main event. Jon Moxley defeated Cezar Bononi, the cracks continued to show in Team Taz and Darby Allin put Matt Hardy on notice.
The card also saw Laredo Kid and the Lucha Brothers take on Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers. Tay Conti and AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida also took on The Bunny and Nyla Rose.

Christian Cage is back!

Christian Cage took on Frankie Kazarian in his first singles match in seven years.
Kazarian dominated Cage for most of the match, but couldn’t pull off a victory. After almost 20-minutes of action, Christian Cage hit a killswitch for the win.
This was a very solid contest between two established veterans. Kazarian did a lot of the heavy lifting, but Christian also looked great for someone who hasn’t had a singles match in nearly a decade.
Nightmare family at a crossroads

The friendly exhibition match between Cody Rhodes and QT Marshall ended with blood being spilled.
Marshall punched Arn Anderson in the face and at first it looked like he couldn’t believe his own actions. But then, Aaron Solow, Anthony Ogogo and Nick Comoroto attacked Cody and the NightMare Family.
The segment ended with Marshall piledriving Dustin Rhodes onto the steel steps.
It looks like a new faction has been born in AEW.
MJF’s gift is spoiled

MJF planned on getting The Pinnacle custom-fitted suits and a fancy new locker room, but when he opened the door he thought he’d seen a ghost.
Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle made their triumphant return to AEW and decimated The Pinnacle. Sammy Guevera nearly decapitated Shawn Spears, Wardlow was put through a massage table by Jake Hager and FTR was beat down by Santana and Ortiz.
Chris Jericho ended the segment by giving MJF a swirly and putting him through a drink machine. Not a bad way to make a return at all.
Club is victorious

Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers were victorious in an amazing bout with The Lucha Brothers and Laredo Kid. It’s a nice bit of storytelling that Omega has feuded with every member of the opposing time, dating back to All In 2018.
After the match, Jon Moxley made a rare entrance through the good guy tunnel and at first it looked like he was going to attack the trio on his own. However, AEW’s World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks came out to make the save!
It was announced that Moxley and The Bucks would take on Omega and company next week later on in the show
Women’s Division stays hot

The Bunny made her return to the ring for the first time since 2019, scoring a pinfall win in cheap fashion on Tay Conti. Rose and The Bunny made a great team and overall the match was a highlight of the show.
Months ago we would’ve talked about AEW continuing to put the women in the “cool down” spot before the main event, but this contest was great. Tay Conti might end up being the biggest steal in AEW’s young history. She’s improved at a rapid pace since being released by WWE last year.
Conti will return to action next week for a grudge match against The Bunny.
Arcade Anarchy

The Arcade Anarchy match was out of this world and not only were the spots insane and so were the returns.
Kris Statlander made a surprise return to AEW after tearing her ACL one-year ago. She put Penelope Ford through an air hockey table.
During the match, Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy desperately crawled up the side entrance of Daily’s Place and it looked like they were about to get hit by a car. However, to everyone’s surprise, it was Mama Sue’s Van and she didn’t come alone!
Trent also made a triumphant return to Dynamite, which gave his friends the strength to win the match. A wild sequence of events occurred in which Miro was speared through a table and Kip Sabian was spiked through the stage before Best Friends got the win.
The show ended with a feel-good moment as Trent, Cassidy, Taylor and Statlander celebrated in the ring as Where Is My Mind by Pixies played in the background.
