Diffusing Dynamite June 11

(Photo via AEW)

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) was coming off one of their weakest episodes of Dynamite in history, so they needed to deliver on this Friday night. They announced quite the show in order to get the quality show they hoped for.

On the show, we saw Christian Cage vs Angelico, Team Taz vs ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and Evil Uno and also on the show PAC, Penta El Zero M and Eddie Kingston defeated The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. We also heard from Darby Allin in regards to his tag team partner and Miro retained the TNT Championship over Evil Uno.

As always, the Diffusing Dynamite team of Joseph Casciaro and Gavin Axelrod have you covered for all things AEW!

Jungle Boy saves the day

In the opening contest, we had Christian Cage knock off Angelico in a great match, but afterwards, chaos ensued. Angelico’s stable mates in Hardy Family Office attacked Cage with a 3-on-1 advantage.

Cage then got some help from an unlikely person, Jungle Boy stormed the ring to make the save. JB and Cage showed each other respect after being the last two in the battle royal at Double or Nothing, and now we have this tonight. I believe there is more to come between Cage and JB.

Special Edition shows announced

AEW announced four special editions of Dynamite spanning over four weeks all throughout July. July 7 we have Road Rager, July 14 Fyter Fest Night 1, July 21 Fyter Fest Night 2 and July 28 Fight for the Fallen!

The Factory vs Nightmare Family continues

Cody Rhodes was out to cut a promo tonight and he was announcing his brand-new tag team partner for his tag match next week. To take on QT Marshall and Aaron Solow of The Factory Cody will team with Brock Anderson, son of Arn Anderson.

Brock is a product of The Nightmare Factory and this will be his AEW Dynamite debut. Cody was then interrupted by QT and he was there to talk about the end of this long feud between two factions.

QT wants to end it once and for all by taking on Cody in a South Beach Strap Match at Road Rager. Cody accepted the challenge and it looks like this will be the final bout between QT and Cody!

The Elite has a lot of enemies

(Twitter via @AEW)

On Dynamite, we saw an amazing trios match between PAC, Penta El Zero M and Eddie Kingston against The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. It was PAC that scored the victory for his team, but in true AEW fashion, there was a post-match brawl.

The Good Brothers came out to join their Elite members and they started a 4-on-3 beatdown. However, out came Elite hunter Frankie Kazarian to even the odds and they were able to clear the ring of The Elite. Kaz is a man on a mission to take out The Elite, and it seems like Death Triangle wants the AEW Tag Team Titles!

Pinnacle and Inner Circle still at war

(Twitter via @AEW)

The Pinnacle was out tonight to deliver some words to Inner Circle after losing Stadium Stampede. FTR spoke first saying that themselves and Santana & Ortiz are quite similar with the adversity they overcame, but Santana & Ortiz have lost their edge.

Shawn Spears next had words for Sammy Guevara saying he stole a moment at his expense and he said he is a glorified indie wrestler. Wardlow then accepted Jake Hager’s challenge for an MMA Cage Fight next week on Dynamite!

Finally, MJF grabbed the mic to trash talk, Chris Jericho, by saying that Jericho was once his idol and he looked up to him. MJF said he thought Jericho would be larger than life, but he was just like everybody else, not as good as himself. He then declined Jericho’s challenge for a match between the two.

MJF then went for Guevara as well, saying that he doesn’t even belong in the same ring as him because he said MJF is better than him and he knows it. We then heard the voice of Chris Jericho, and it was The Inner Circle in the parking lot where Jericho told The Pinnacle they’ll have to walk home.

The Inner Circle then destroyed the limousine of The Pinnacle, destroying it entirely and then lifting it up with a forklift. These two factions hate each other and they are going to new lengths to get under one another’s skin. There needs to be one final battle between MJF and Jericho.

Darby chooses nobody

(Twitter via @AEW)

Darby Allin and Sting were supposed to deliver words so Darby could announce his new tag partner for his match with Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page next week. Allin however, shocked everyone and said he would be choosing nobody and he wants a handicap match.

Allin said he needs to prove to himself and to all those guys that he can win his own battles. So, he asked Sting to stay home next week and let him do this alone.

Andrade live next week

On next week's AEW we will be hearing from the latest signing, Andrade El Idolo, as he sits down with Jim Ross for an interview!

Team Taz in shambles

(Twitter via @AEW)

The main event of Dynamite was ‘Hangman’ Adam Page and 10 vs Brian Cage and Powerhouse Hobbs of Team Taz. It looked like Team Taz was closing in on the win when Hook distracted the referee and then Ricky Starks passed Cage the FTW title to use as a weapon.

However, Cage declined the help which angered Starks, so he slapped Cage right across the face. Cage then chased Starks into the back, which allowed Page to land the Buckshot Lariat so his team could score the win. It looks like Team Taz is falling apart and Brian Cage is very close to heading on his own.

Next Week: MMA Cage Fight Jake Hager vs Wardlow, Cody Rhodes and Brock Anderson vs QT Marshall and Aaron Solow and so much more!
