This weekend was filled with action-packed games and interesting matches throughout all sports but the highlight goes to the most thrilling and highly anticipated North-London Derby.

This time it's Arsenal who strike with force and hammer downed Tottenham Hotspur in a very dominating performance as they win 3-1 to go above them in the Premier League table. After a slow start at the beginning of the season, Arsenal finally pick up the pace and win three matches in a row to secure 9 points. In this weekend's game, the first half itself was abysmal for Tottenham as the gunners score three to secure the win. The goals came from youngster Emile Smith Rowe ( 12’), the captain himself Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scored his 50th goal at the Emirates Stadium in style (27’) and the star boy of the club Bukayo Saka (34’) who not only scored the winner but assisted the first goal as well led to a convincing victory all around.

Arsenal played a 4-2-3-1 Formation

The best defensive display so far this season, the center back partnership of Gabriel and Arsenal’s newest signing Ben White gave Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min no room to score, shutting down every opportunity. Right-back, Takehiro Tomiyasu played a phenomenal game alongside left-back, Kieran Tierney and newly signed goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale also did a wonderful job. Although a dominant performance in the defence, Tottenham did manage to get one in, by no other than Son Heung-Min (79’), but it was too late to do any more damage as Arsenal saw the game through.

Defensive midfielders, Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey along with attacking midfielder Martin Ødegaard controlled the tempo of the game with precision and sheer determination. Making forward runs, long balls and just pressing past Tottenham's midfield, outperforming them in every way. Thomas Partey in particular really enhanced Arsenal’s defensive side and makes them stronger when he's seen fit and starting.

The attack line had Emile Smith Rowe on the left-wing, Bukayo Saka on the right-wing and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang playing through the middle as the striker. Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta got his tactics on point and showed just how dangerous Arsenal can be with the right organization and team selection. The attack penetrated Nuno Espirito Santo's Tottenham and the game looked to be over within the first half.

This match definitely lived up and crossed the expectations for everyone. Many thought Arsenal were the underdogs for the match-up but ended up proving everyone wrong. An overall perfect display from Arsenal and the fans will take all three points from the first North-London derby of this season.
